Private Pool - Spa - Game Room - Golf Cart - Beach

WOW! This host and his property surpassed all of my (very high) expectations! I run a veteran nonprofit and rent large waterfront residences quite often to host events. While I rented this property for personal use, it is by far the nicest I've ever had the pleasure of staying in! First impressions didn't hurt... starting with a 3 hour early check-in, Jakeb surprised us with amazing welcome gifts of mezcal, margarita mix, beach-themed lego set for the kids, a kite for the beach and a pre-stocked fridge with 3 bags of ice (in addition to the separate ice maker) and a few beers to get us started. Traveling with 8 kids (11-14 years old)... they LOVED all of the beach and pool toys, water guns, surf boards, paddle boards, hot tub, pool, golf-cart (25 & older to drive), crabbing nets and buckets, bunk beds each with their own TV and headphones, huge outdoor living spaces / decks, board games, etc! Im not easily impressed and I was blown away! 10/10!!! Obviously owned and managed by a true professional! **Totally unrelated to host property** Only mistake I made was opting to buy 10 individual passes to the Point West resort. I thought the kids would enjoy the game room and opportunity to meet others. The air hockey table at Point West is broken, kids aren't allowed to sign out board games unless they have picture ID, and restaurant / bar closed during our stay.

A beautiful location complete with all of the "add-ons" that made our stay exceptional. From the "adults" perspective---the accommodations were first class. Beautiful large bedrooms, each with a large adjoining bath area. Amazing views to both the coast and "red/orange" evening sunsets. Availability of a six-person golf cart that made transit to both the club and beach easy. The ability to quickly customize both lighting and spa controls on the pool was appreciated. Showers (with warm water!) adjacent to the pool made daily "beach sand" removal easy. Of course, that was immediately followed by the refreshing pool plunge ---. From the "kids" perspective - the multiple porches, personal bunk beds, mealtime family size table and pool were high on their list! It would be a challenge to find a better venue in the Galveston/Pointe West area of the Texas Gulf Coast.

We loved this property! It was super spacious and having the pool was so great for the kids. The hot tub was awesome for adults and the heating included for the hot tub. The house also had so many amenities and the kitchen and bar were both super well stocked. Highly recommend staying here. The property manager was also AMAZING!

This was by far the best rental house we have ever stayed at! Not only were the hosts a dream to work with, the house was fully stocked and pristine in condition. I had constant communication with the hosts and they were quick to reply to any questions I had, often answering them before I knew I had them. The house was comfortable and like our own home not a rental. The bathroom tiling is reason alone to rent this house in addition to the stocked garage of toys and activities as well as the lovely pool and outdoor options! The welcome gift that we recieved upon entering was unexpected and so appreciated! I can not say enough good things about this house and hosts! We have been renting houses over Thanksgiving for decades and this is the best experience to date! Thank you so much!!
